Services & Style

  • Weddings are currently our passion as a company and make up almost all of the business booked through us. However, I do plan to offer services at other events, including corporate events, private events, and school events. Please feel free to contact me for more information about potentially booking one of these events.

  • Many DJs think that it is their job to put on a show and often draw all of the attention from your wedding celebration and onto them. I firmly believe in not turning your wedding into a showcase, but rather keeping the attention on you. Your dance floor will be packed, but it will be because I have selected the perfect songs and mixed them in a sequencing worthy of dancing to – not because I spoke well on the microphone or forcibly moved them to the dance-floor.

  • How a DJ mixes their music says a lot about his or her style. I mix music to help create seamless transitions between songs and maintain the energy and momentum on the dance floor. This includes a variety of genres that appeal to all ages, which allows for fun for the whole crowd, and not just select group.

  • In addition to my music services, I provide services as a emcee and facilitator at no additional cost. This comes as a passion of mine to keep people feeling comfortable, so I find joy in providing just the right amount of encouragement without over-speaking.

Music Selection

  • I take an immense amount of pride in knowing I have catered to most if not all of the songs presented to me as requests. Therefore, feel free to request songs and if desired encourage your guests to request as well.

  • I encourage you to be as involved as you would like to be in this process. I understand that some clients place great value on music and probably have very distinct ideas about what they want to hear. So, if you would like to select every song, I am happy to accommodate you. Simply let me know and I will be sure to use the exact selections you make.

  • I have access to an enormous library of music in all genres, including international music. I long to provide the songs that our clients and their guests are currently enjoying, whether that be modern or classic music. Furthermore, I will gladly acquire any commercially available song that I don’t already own, and guarantee that I will be able to accommodate any request.

  • No matter the method of producing the list of music selections, I take full responsibility in providing additional suggestions and guidance when appropriate, including the day of the wedding. Rest assured, you will never hear songs you have asked not to be played, or genres you’ve told me you don’t like.

  • Many do not know where to begin or remember each section of their celebration. Because of this, I have compiled a general list of typical parts of a wedding celebration where music is often coupled. If you would like me to help, I will walk through this list and help ensure that you will have the right feel for every part of your wedding.

Booking Info

  • I find understanding the venue can help me provide the best music sound for your wedding. If I am not familiar with your venue, I will schedule a time to go view the venue before providing an answer to your inquiry to give extra trust that I will know what I am getting into.

  • I base rates on two vital factors for sound, duration and space. I create a custom quote for each wedding, and will provide you with complete and accurate pricing in our first correspondence to you after considering availability for date, time, and location of your wedding. I will always give you my best price, and am willing to work with you to provide best payment plan if needed.

  • I will always arrive on-site at least an hour and a half prior to the contracted start time of the event, and earlier as necessitated by the setup requirements of your event. If there is a desired time you would like me to begin setup, we can discuss the best plan for your wedding and how you would like it to look.

  • Camp Jay Productions is a company incorporating my name, Jeremy Camp, for a reason. I and myself alone promise to be the face and hands that provide the DJ services you sign up for, committing to making your day my priority.

  • Following correspondence, a contract will be provided that will specify a deposit and total amount, as well as payment terms. The deposit is required to secure the wedding date for the service. The rest of the total price will be provided on a final invoice following the wedding, due within a week of the event. Both the deposit and the total will be paid using a provided payment link.

Terms & Requirements

  • To cancel service with me is made simple to ensure you can continue to seek the best DJ service for your big day. The deposit is required within 30 days following the submission of the DJ Service Contract to fully secure the event date. If the decision of cancellation occurs after the payment and before 15 days before the event, the deposit will be refunded to the couple with no problems. If within 15 days, the deposit then becomes non-refundable for the accommodation of my preparation.

  • Following a price correspondence check with each client, I will provide the couple with my DJ Service Contract, lining out all terms, policies, and procedures that encompass my service to you. The contract must be signed and agreed to within 10 days of delivery to loosely secure a wedding date with me.

  • If I am currently running any promotions or specials, I will include them in our price correspondence when you check our availability for your date and will update your contract to reflect this price discount. I want to always give you my best price, so follow all of my social media pages for available discounts.

  • I require at least one 6-foot banquet table, with linens, and adequate power (120-volt, 15-amp circuit on a grounded outlet) within 35 feet of where I will be set up. If your event will occur in multiple spaces (such as a wedding ceremony in another area) then I will likely need another table and access to electricity in those areas as well.

Performance Details

  • I do not see the need to take breaks when I am committing to provide a service. Therefore, you will have my full involvement the whole celebration to ensure I am allowing the best deliverance of my abilities.

  • My equipment includes a high-quality Bose set of sub woofers and vertical speakers, in addition to Shure microphones and a set of wireless microphones. All of these are considered high quality products based on their ability to deliver the best sound in almost any environment.

  • I wish to wear what the couple desires for me to wear. If not specified upon asking, I will resort to dark and neutral colors to avoid conflict with the wedding color scheme. This includes a pair of jeans or khakis, along with a dark colored dress shirt or polo T-shirt.

  • If you prefer to speak with some of my former clients personally, I will (upon request) gladly provide you with references who are more than happy to discuss the quality of my performance and customer service. You will not be asked to “cold call” people to check my references; I will be sure to let them know to expect your call. I want you to feel completely comfortable in researching our services.
